Day One (Script/Casting)
===================
This is the episode where I am reminding the audience that we are returning to the current time in the series. So I decided to string last episode's character Fiona Dempsey coming home after her home invasion with the casual affair that Jack Guru and Heather Ashford are having.

So the script came together featuring Fiona and Jack being interviewed by a popular television host (showing that they are still together and now famous). The dialog between them the host and Fiona's character introduces the past and then we return to wrap up the episode.

Day Two (Set/Location)
==================
For the television show, I had to pull together items on market place. "Late Night with Brea" being the theme of the studio set dressed to make it look very personal to this episode. The dank apartment was the creation of Cïđ Ɓαỹη who designed Rough Love & Violation!

Day Three (The Shoot)
=================
We had a great day shooting although it was tricky to get everybody from different time-zones together. Things will always come up but that's that makes filming this series so fun. I've learned to not always use wind-light if a sim is detailed enough and lag starts to slow down the shoot.

Day Four (The Edit)
===============
In Second Life you can be limited by your animations and so you have to use everything from music to dialog tell your story. I found two public domain songs for each set to help tell the audience where the characters were. This time the dialog really helped tell the story in this episode.

Day One: Storyline
===============
Before day one I toyed with the idea of Sindee and Professor Zepp's story-line. But what made it come to life was when their story crossed paths with the last episode. So what we have is Zepp's wife (played by me) receiving a warm dish of revenge from the Punk Grrls Gone Wild exploitation video. The dish of revenge is served by our latest new-comer to the cast Fiona Dempsey.

Day Two: Looks/Wardrobe
====================
So after going through a few ideas on the story we can work on the cast's looks. Zepp and my character have it easy... we are that comfy couple at home. The real contrast is with Sindee and Fiona's looks. Punk yes... but with a little naughty too.

Day Three: Set and Animations
=======================
Now the cast are ready its time to work on a convincing set. From the story I picked Sindee's future home from Episodes S2E7 and S2E8. Zepp helped me work on an amazing photo prop (our wedding portrait) that hangs over the fireplace of the house. I find myself tripping over pose-balls constantly!

Day Four: The Shoot
================
Last night we all set the time for the cast to shoot. Talk about international collaboration. We have two Californians, one New Yorker and an European.

The shoot goes off without any hitches! Again, Sindee, Zepp and now Fiona are such professionals on set. It was filled with lots of laughs as we worked on each scenes in detail that I know will come out in the final video.

Day Five: Final Edit
===============
The shoot had gone so well that there was so much video to edit down into a juicy bundle. My friend Barbie Pomilio had earlier sent me a link to a scene that reminded me of what I'm trying to do. So the music I added was a Clockwork'y theme.

S3E5 "Selling Out"

So... I've decided to do the Director's Notes blogs in a little bit of a different way. Rather than post when I've finished the episode I'm going to share with you what is going on just as we film.

Days One and Two: Casting and Script
=============================
So for this episode I am showing that the university was full of different cliques. We have the sorority girls, we have the debate team but now we show you the punk rockers. I picked a band rehearsal scene with three punk rockers. After they finish their song they talk about their opportunity with the sinister Jane Sicling (a/k/a me playing the character of Zepp Sicling's wife for the next show). We learn that Jane is a talent scout that has propositioned the girls to make a sex video that she will film to cause a 'splash'. They agree hoping that this will give them instant fame. After they are filmed, Jane leaves and but the girls feel duped by her because they get nothing in return.

Right now we have the featured cast confirmed. Its been several weeks in the making with other shoots scheduled but now this is taking shape.

Day Three: Dressing the Set
====================
When I log into SL home, I'm literally living on a set. Right now my home is a dank basement with a drum set in the middle and lots of speakers. In a way having the set as my home gives me the chance to stay in role and make little changes to the set before we actually shoot.

Day Four: Shoot Day
================
So I hear from Monique and Katina but one of our cast members still isn't available. It just so happens that I had someone in mind that could be perfect for the role. She's a new-comer and hadn't modeled in a video. So in the space of thirty minutes Fiona Dempsey learns her shoot script and finds a perfect look. Talk about making a debut in SL Porn!

The shoot goes off perfectly. Even with clumsy threesome poses we manage to get some amazing angles. With all this going on and one the last scene my computer decides to go on strike and I end up crashing!!! But the good news I was able to catch almost everything.

Day Five: Editing
=============
So its time to edit all of what was shot and I really have no idea how to make clips of the gals look like they are actually performing a song. But when I added the music it started to come together (of course!)

To make the girls seem more like a band I used a multi screen effect that showed their best assets (Monique's butt will thank me). The other piece of music that I picked was a very 90s grungy background that totally worked better than I expected. It made the edits of Jane's character exploiting the band far more seedy and gritty.

Hopefully everybody will enjoy it but for me I'm proud of this one because it ain't easy filming threesomes and making them look raw.

Episode 3 of Season 4 was very fun to do and surprisingly easy. We take Katysa from Episode One in her college days (a/k/a Heather Ashford ten years earlier) and Jake is there to bask in his glory of winning the debate from the last episode.

The music was a challenging thing. I edited it entirely with a little bird on my shoulder asking me, "What are we going to do to break up the scene?" I wish I could use whats on the radio but there is plenty of perfect music in the public domain that fits any scene. For this I wanted to show that in spite of all of the treachery, Jake and Katsya are still college sweethearts. But... the quick shot of the lipstick on Jake's abs says it all.

So as Heather's character clings to Jake and they talk to each other... we see that things aren't so perfect in their world. Oh please this series is Revenge!

There is a little play on the word 'late' because Heather comes from a family where if she is officially late then she will have to be sure that her future husband is candidate material.

The dialog is full of undertones of jealousy and race as Jake doesn't like Jack which makes Heather's little trip to the wrong side of town all the more exciting. Again the music changes because, as she steps out of her sports car, she is another woman. She's dressed differently. Her makeup is how Jake or her family wouldn't approve of. But Jack greets her in just a shirt and nothing else. Jake's character is trying to impress her and yet Jack simply is nonchalant about the whole affair.

Heather and Jack have more than a tryst..  we see that they are lovers. As a checker board girl.. I kinda like to have my interracial erotic moments to be more than blonde meets bull. So this episode establishes a relationship that will spill messy in the the rest of the Revengeverse. The sex scene between Heather and Jack was very fluid. Again its so wonderful to work with stars that know exactly what to do at the right moment. Instead of moving to every shot we let the dialog between the characters set the mood.

Episode 3 of Season 3 finds us awkwardly watching Severina leaning against the girl’s room stall as Rachel Avro (The President in the current period) on her knees between Laura Richards’ thighs. The dialog moves quickly. Both Severina and Laura are telling Rachel what she must do for her debate team performance. The scene ends with the vibrator on the sink of the toilets. 

What I love about the cast is that everybody brings their SL acting to their roles. It is their look, what we talk about on set and most of all its that pixel energy! Severina was perfect as the narrator through her conversations and her leaning nonchalantly just drove this scene. Laura and Rachel of course were having a lot of fun method acting!

The next scene introduces Jake Brennaghan in his college days. His younger character was done so well by Jake Raven. Hey… at least they both share the character’s name! The scene starts off with a fiery debate that we have allude to since the last episode. Rachel Avro is a very glamorous star in her own right but for this we worked hard on toning her down and making her seem very plain. In the first scene, you could barely see her and in this one you see her humiliated with the ‘ole-remote-control-vibrator-at-debate-trick’. 

Then there is the audience that we shot of another date. The entire support cast made it feel like we were watching a debate and the banter was very funny! It did feel like we were all students stuck in a room.

As Jake wins the debate because of Rachel’s speechless state (all thanks to Laura) we move to the final sex scene. We return to the toilets that Severina, Rachel and Laura were originally in. This time Jake is there victorious in winning his debate and Rachel can be assumed to be hiding away from the rest of the students in the library. 

Laura and Jake are amazing stars because they make the scenes come to life using everything that SL gives us. Severina is the cherry on top of the scene and became the narrator for the rest of the episode by showing that Jake has a girlfriend and that he is willing to do a deal with the wicked duo. 

Musically, I chose two different themes. The restroom scenes are done in with a uber cheesy 1950’s sound to make the dialog just a little more ironic. I found a public domain song that to me at least conjured the image a bullfight in Spain. This had to be the debate scene. I was simply lucky that the remote control “On” scene fell neatly into it. 

This episode leaves a few lose ends with the plot. What happened to Rachel after losing the debate? Will Katysa discover what Jake had been up to with Laura? And why was Severina dressed like a political fixer???  Stay tuned!

Director's Note: S3E2

Episode 2 opens flashing back to Sindee's days in university. The music may sound familiar to those following the series because its the same from the first season's finale. I chose the same music because this was each Sindee and Zepp's debut in the Revenge series.

So we open the new episode in Professor Zepp's office. It was fun to find a few props that suggested a different period without it looking too dated. The story continues with Sindee seeking an interview with Zepp. Since it was an interview I wanted more dialog I used little picture icons of the stars to make sure that the audience could follow the conversation.

The first part of this scene involves Sindee attempting to seduce Zepp into hiring her for research assistant. I wanted to do this with a cheeky tease from Sindee and so (and inspired by a famous 80's movie) I had Sindee communicate by something written on her eye lids. The flirtation continues even though Sindee is told that the position is filled.

The flirtations lead to Zepp challenging Sindee to solve a math formula as she bends over his desk. This is where things become raunchier and we also see more of Sindee's character. She isn't shocked. She continues to try to work out the formula knowing that if she does she will have the research position.

The blowjob scene is just a few seconds but this is were we see that Professor Zepp is more interested in exploiting her perceived innocence and interest in solving the math formula... all while dangling his intellect over her.

Most of the sex happens on his office chair and both stars completely shine. What makes Sindee and Zepp truly special as porn stars is that they truly get into their roles. They are always attentive and listen and know exactly where we are in the script. This made every sexy angle shot so fun to film.

The dialog between Sindee and Zepp keeps building to the solution of this math formula... and when she tells him he has no choice but to cum. Yes, talk about nerd porn.  

The scene ends with the Sindee Bluthe we all know. She assumes that the research position is hers as she gets dressed leaving Zepp in a hot sticky mess.

Interview with Director Carly J

I would like to thank my impromtu cast for this interview. Brennaghan Bailey (the interviewer), Hannah Aunerfal and Fiona Dempsey. Also Cïđ Ɓαỹη of Rough Love and Violation who has helped me so much with his sordid sim as a location.

 

Brennaghan: What exactly got you interested in directing porn?
Carly: There are two answers to this question. First is that my friend Jezzi Mornington and her partner Rachel Raxen have been in SL Porn for some time before I even got curious. I heard of award shows and shoots and gradually became interested even though my photographic 'talent' isn't the best, I figured I'll give it a try. Jezzi (I hope she doesn't mind me saying this) is an absolute voyeur and so I always asked her about her take on the scene. The second answer goes down to me being a terrible Drama Queen. Yes this is Drama therapy for me! The moment that I'm not fixated on making something that stirs me, I'm horrid to be around.


Brennaghan: Why behind the camera Carly? 
Carly: I feel like a newbie compared to the stars with their fancy Bento stuff... besides I would crash every two minutes if I was to film and star. More seriously... the less time I spend in front of the camera the more time I can devote to telling a story that involves some of the sexiest SL Pornstars around.

Brennaghan: I know you love working with a big cast of characters, not asking you to name names, but describe what would be your dream talent to work with?
Carly: I love working with all of the cast. Everybody brings something to their role. From the first episode all the way til now its that shared creativity in enjoying erotica and more importantly sharing it with each other. All this to say, I am already working with my dream cast. Everybody is so different and has something to add. Besides if you ever do work with me you will know that I'm very picky on the look and energy that you bring to any part of the story.

Brennaghan: I know some actors tend to really get into a scene at times, ever get so turned on that you wanted to just say fuck it and join in? If so, how did you handle it?
Carly: Two words... Orgasm Denial! Its part of the thrill to do something that is so sexual but at the same time have to be focused enough to not just jump in and enjoy. Have I touched myself while filming? Hopefully that comes out when you see what I post. Its very fun to form dirty crushes on the cast and even those whom help me with sets and scripts.

Brennaghan: You have filmed your fair share of hot scenes Carly. What has been your favorite, or what scene would you most love to be able to film?
Carly: The funny thing about that question is that every time I film something I think that is my ideal and favorite fantasy until days later when I discover something new. All I know is that the ideal scene will be filled with lots of tension and chemistry with the stars. That moment when you watch it and wonder what they are doing off screen.

Brennaghan: I know for a fact that everyone i have talked to who has worked with you just loves the experience, why do you think that is?
Carly: I have no idea! LOL! I like to tell myself that its because I value their time and effort in doing what they do so well but what if it all comes down ruthless ambition? I think it has more to do with enjoying the process of making something together and seeing the results.

Brennaghan: Do you ever find the job tedious? What do you like to do on your down time?
Carly: This question is going to be my downfall. Without filming I am a horrid drama queen. I channel all of my emotions into story and feeling and the expression of emotion in those moments. So when I film I am lost in the enjoyment and when I'm not... I'm a horrid trouble maker. Whether its looking for a typewriter for a scene or editing 10 minutes of rawr footage to make it a 3 minute bonbon... its never tedious.

Brennaghan: You are known for your The Revenge Series, how do you come up with your story lines, I mean you have some pretty crazy plot twists?
Carly: Its like dancing with somebody who pulls and twists you around faster than you first expect. One moment you are just about to kiss them and they are holding you tenderly. The next... you are being spun around and you worry if you can stay on your feet. Of course there are times when I'm trying to make the story carry on in a way that the audience can personally enjoy.

Brennaghan: Ok, we are dying for some inside scoop....how do you see the series developing in the next few seasons?
Carly: I have a question for you Mister Reporter... If I'm going to seduce my audience... would I give too much away?

Interview with Sindee

In the Revenge series, Sindee plays Sindee Bluthe. I invited Sindee to set to ask her a few questions while we filmed a little Game of Thrones inspired video.We also invited Zepp help out with the interview. Obviously it was all an excuse for me to play Cersei.

Carly: How did you fall into Second Life Porn? Confess...
Sindee: Well I was walking around minding my own business one day when a fiendishly kinky woman posted asking for a female co-star for a scene she was shooting. I replied and came down. I see it as an excuse to learn more and more photoshop so I often follow tutorials I find online and try to use those techniques into my SL pics. That and exploring naughty ideas of course

Carly: What pushes your red button (That thing that turns you on) when you are doing a photo or a film?
Sindee: hmm....I think if the guy happens to emote something (yes I like when my co-star emotes coz it somehow makes the scene more real and exciting. But yeah if he/she emotes something that I'm really into (without prior knowledge). that can be a real turn on as it means he's into the same things. Do you want me to list a few of such things or shall we keep them a mystery? ;)

Zepp: What is your dream role in Second Life Porn?
Sindee: Hmm....I like playing different roles so there's not really one I can narrow down to. Some I think I'd enjoy tho are like....a action heroine kinda role...like a female James Bond or Lara Croft...that would be pretty cool in terms of plot and visuals. I'd also say that a SL porno version of Mean Girls would be just awesome to do.

Zepp: Have you ever came on a shoot?
Sindee: I have, yes. It's a natural turn on seeing my avi with another person but there's been a few occasion where the sex has gotten especially steamy and I just couldn't resist. Twice in fact on one particular scene ;)

Carly: what do you do when you are not being smut-ting on it up on the SL screen?
Sindee: hmm..I'd say half the time I'm just afk working in another screen lol....Often I'm shopping or dancing at the club where I work. When in the mood I do pics too ofc. Otherwise being a general nuisance and trolling people.

Carly: What kinda Club do you work in?What kinda Club do you work in?
Sindee:  It's an escort/gentlemen's club. It's supposed to be Babygirl themed but really there's no strictness to the theme. It's a fun chilled out place to work. I get to meet new and interesting people (and some total weirdos too ofc).....and explore various naughty rp situations and kinks too ofc.

Zepp: So what is next for you in your Porn Star Career?
Sindee: Hmm...More of the same I suppose at least for now. As far as my own work...I may do more story themed picture series time permitting. As for acting, I'd like to explore different roles but it's hard coz not everyone makes good movies. I like it when there's a story or when it's shot or edited creatively but there's a dearth of good movie producers/directors. Maybe long-term  i may look into making a video myself but that's a very big maybe.

Carly: Is there anybody that you would like to promote? This includes yourself...
Sindee: hmmm...I promote myself to Her Royal Highness, Queen of al........oh not that kind of promotion? k. fine! I'm gonna be making photography poses in the near future. So we open the new episode using the teasers from the last season's finale.



The story follows the question mark left about Madame President (Rachel Avro)'s sex footage taken with Sindee Bluthe (Sindee). One of the best choices I made in the Revenge series was making sure that each episode was nothing more than three minutes long. It forces me to tell a story quickly and to make every moment counts. As with everything we do, we learn new things along the way. In this episode I learned not to tell the entire story in one episode even as tempting as it may be.


In the first scene we see the sassy Fixer duo, Laura and Sev inviting Jake Brennaghan (Brenn) to look at a video on his laptop showing the exploits of Madame President and Sindee Bluthe. The scene took some preparation but the cast really made it come to life. In a split second Sev is giving Jake a little Valentine's day gift while the ever-so-wicked Laura makes an offer to Jake. The quickness shows how intentional those wicked fixers are.



The door knob with a few sound effects breaks up the blowjob that Jake is receiving from Sev just as Laura warns them that somebody is about to enter. Again the quickness and the wickedness is what I wanted to show.

Enter Kaytsa Brennaghan, the wife of Jake. She is standing at the door arms folded and certainly not giving her cards away to her husband's associates. We cut to Jake and Katysa alone and now is the time where we hear from his trophy wife.

Katysa is not so innocent as we see. She shares with the audience that she knows exactly what her husband was up to and also that she is far from innocent herself. Again there are plenty of hints to those college days.

The music is playing a tango all the way through showing that this season will be a dance of dangerous liaisons. As the scene ends with Jake and Katysa we get a flash back fifteen years ago to Madame President's character sitting alone in the university library reading Anais Nin's Little Birds. This is how the first episode of Season Three ends... with the introduction of two periods. The political dramas and the old college days that the cast will share.

Introducing Season Three

Season Three of Her Revenge also known as Her Ambition takes aim at new lead characters with some similar themes. Revenge and the motivations behind now cover two reoccurring different periods.

This was the inspiration of a few television shows that I have watched recently and certainly is not an original idea. You have the college days where the audience can see the characters and their motivations and situations. We seem them in 'present day' too as part of the political drama that is quickly unfolding.

Director's Note: S2E10 (Season Finale)

Everything that happens on screen is because of the energy and passion of our amazing cast.

The last episode shun a bright spotlight on Laura Richards as the Fixer. The camera swooshes with quick focus to Rachel Avro a/k/a "Madame President". 

The story has already spread open to Season 3 with so many things already in production but it took some self restraint on my part to reel it in and keep it simple. My suggestion to story-tellers is that  you can get lost in the detail of a beautiful story.

One of my close friends always wondered when I would do a happy ending. I give this to her. For my character she has fought her demons and found love but the consequence isn't over. Rachel's character as Madame President is getting lost this hunger and is about to explore these edges both past and present.

Sindee Bluthe is confronted with Madame President as if she is the prey of a toying cat. Originally, this scene was supposed to involve secret service men and the kidnapper but I went for something far more intimate.

The laptop becomes the hinge for Rachel's character to put pressure on Sindee. Now off the record, this is one of the sexiest scenes that I filmed. I always go with the energy of my cast and I may have stirred things up between the stars to get that right mix but it paid off. As you will see from this finale episode they were both ready to act with passion.

With Laura Richards (a/k/a "The Fixer") already on the audience's mind from Episode 9, I simply used her name for secret spy footage to add to the tease of the next season. Season One's finale was dramatic and a suggestion of an ultimate ending but this Finale is all about what happens next.

The music was instinctual... My character's with sexy Zepp holding me was almost the scene of the Queen is dead. Zepp is a true tease to film. He is in this episode for less than ten seconds but Zepp does so much. Then the story moves to feelings of love. I cast Hana my close friend as the hot sexy beach bum. There was no sex but there was an on screen chemistry from our drama days.

The picks on music (all public domain) were very much telling a story of Sindee's character. The flute is sparse because she is no longer confident that she can get herself out of any situation. With Rachel's wild temper that is hinted at in Episode 9 I am showing a potential danger with and between them both past and present.

Now if you noticed from the dialogue of the last episode... we are adding two time-frames to the next Season Three. The characters when they were in college... and when they attained their power and weaknesses.

I want our audience to be familiar with each character from the first Episode to the current. That way you get to know them personally on screen. Because for me that is truly sexy!

Casting and scheduling finally worked out for Episode 9. When you work with amazing cast it becomes an issue of patience and timing.

The story in EP9 intends to be the main theme. I know we are here to do porn but sometimes a sexy story can be just as fun. I thank the cast for understanding this especially! The music I found for this was a public domain marching band piece that reminds me of something out of a classic movie. It had the bombastic highs and lows that lent space to the story.

So first of all we "Meet the Fixers"... Enter Laura Richards and Severina (making their Revenge debut) and of course Zepp. As they step out from the helicopter I couldn't resist having them posing in a menacing fashion. What I discovered is that helicopters take up a lot of prims just for a show prop and so just the exterior of Sindee's house was used.

There is so much to tell the audience by the time that the Fixers get out of the helicopter that I used Laura's briefing to Madame President as a narration tool. This is how we find that Sindee is missing or in hiding with a mysterious third "suspect" while Malone and Katina are being arrested. Poor Kat, she really does a lot of jail time in this series.

So back to the Fixers... Zepp is in his sexy black suit and sunglasses while Laura and Severina dressed as if they had been playing tennis. Laura and Severina's characters evidently have been interrupted from their game by Madame President, Rachel Avro to "Fix" the situation with Sindee Bluthe.

Madame President was created as an anesthetic for the real life world of politics but also Rachel and her Fixers are a tease to the next season. Rachel's character is introduced yelling at Laura on her presidential phone. As Laura responds about Sindee's laptop we detect her disdain towards Madame President.

When Laura and Severina continue their game of tennis we get to learn more about their dynamics with madame president.  We learn that they knew her in college. We know that Laura is plotting against her and that both her and Severina have a past with Rachel.

Also with the reference of agent Zepp we learn that something will happen to Sindee and The Virus. This set up leads to the finale of this second season.

When shooting this episode I had the pleasure to get to know Laura Richards who produces a dance troupe, Debauche. What her and partner Geordie do with in-world settings and effects and choreography is truly amazing. So please contact her in-world if you would like to go to a show. This episode is had to be split in to due to scheduling, but the pay off is that its going to far more exciting.

For two weeks I have plotted out a scene for a home invasion of Sindee Bluth. I later learned that the narration is what helps you when you can't get your stars on set at the same time.

So we have the beautiful Malone and Sindee on set and they have a lot of screen chemistry in the Finale of Season One. The fact that they had a one-to-one scene is actually a hidden blessing. They were both so fun to work with on this episode and they really enjoyed their characters.

Sindee is an amazing actress! From costume to expression to the smaller details that sometimes barely make it into the final cut she is a true professional. Malone is a bad boy and so its the perfect match. When animations don't work perfectly they still kept it exciting and beautiful to film.

In this episode I wanted to show that Sindee isn't simply being taken advantage of. Her resistance continues for the entire episode. Also there are off screen characters that will come into play later.

The third star is some public domain music that reminded me of Episode 7 which allowed the narration to work. It starts and ends with Sindee hanging in front of Malone but that won't mean that the timeline of Episode 8 won't feature in the next.

I invited Katina Cazalet to my multi-scene rental to talk about the finer things in Second Life.




Half way through shooting the video I realized that this interview was far more powerful than any video that I could film or edit. With that in mind.... and if you haven't already.... meet Katina...

Carly: What made you get into the Second Life Porn Scene and how long ago was this? 
Katina Cazalet: I am guilty by association. A friend of mine started doing porn vids to promote their club and just out of enjoyment. And showed me a blog that was covering it. I was pretty much over with SL at that point, but reading about those movies on the blog got me interested. Little by little it became my new point of interest for SL. It was around 5 years ago. It just seemed something fun, and when I started going to the parties the whole scene around it was new and refreshing to me.

Carly: So what made it refreshing compared to that point where you were 'over it'? 
Katina Cazalet: Two reasons: one was purely personal, a relationship that ended and a feel of 'loss' and lack of motivation to stick around. I needed something different, new friends, new people. In that sense it was a big change of air. The other reason is that I have always been a rather sexual person in SL and loved photos, especially fun and strange ones, but I never really knew of any community of artists or anything. The Sexiest Porn stars group was to me a place that catered to both these aspects.

Carly: How did Beaver's Digest begin? 
Katina Cazalet: I have to thank Isabelle Cheviot (Dogstar Productions) for that. She has done a wonderful job with her blog, organizing a lot of new photo-shoots every week, interviews etc , on top of her own movies. I was 'reviewing' movies, magazine and art exhibitions for the Sexiest blog in the past, but I hadn't done it for a few months. Isa came up with the idea to make a post that would 'sum up' weekly or so the most relevant releases in the adult scene. I enjoyed it and gave my availability to run it.

Carly: How (pause and repeat). How the hell do you manage to keep up with everything that is going on in the scene? 
Katina Cazalet: I don't! I am pretty sure I miss a lot of stuff. But all I do is just putting some time and effort into it, really. Anyone could do the same job I do, they just have to peruse the notice history of the porn groups (Racheal Rexen does a fantastic job daily with the *SL Porn* blog ). It is just time consuming, especially trying to feature those magazines that are available only at certain sims, or movies not promoted through the groups and that reach me just by word of mouth of searching the latest uploads on NaughtyMachinima.

Katina Cazalet: [feel free to edit anything out really ]  
Carly's afterthought...  I had to mention her [] message to me because this shows how awesome Kat is.

Carly: You have starred in many films.. what is your funniest experience? 
Katina Cazalet: I knew I should have prepared some funny anecdote! I'd say when I starred in Dillon's "The Jungle" ..my sexiest role to date for sure. I'd love to reprise that role! If you want me to explain the 'joke'... in that movie I am the person in the Predator avi, lol.)

Carly: Predator? you have to explain! 
Katina Cazalet: Predator the movie with Schwarzenegger, Jesse Ventura etc, lol. Wow two former governors. I wonder if I should run for office some day.

Carly: What office are you running for now!?
Katina Cazalet: Secretary of Treasury, and them make off with the cash .-)

Carly:  Okay Secretary of Treasure... in the Revenge Series your character has a few ups and downs .. what would you want for her in an ideal world? 
Katina Cazalet: You know, that little farm we got a glimpse of in one of the episodes, seems quite a nice place to settle in...And bury some corpse in should trouble follow me :-)

Carly: What do you see as the major changes from five years ago when it comes to SL Porn? 
Katina Cazalet: The obvious part is, compare how 'good' avis look now with everything mesh and how it looked 5 years ago with system feet and flexi hair. Everything is much easier for photographers and filmmakers. Although, there are many more photographers in the scene compared to filmmakers, and the filmmakers are less productive as a whole. In the past, it was common for directors to boast movies in triple digits. Not all of that was legit maybe but there was more activity and very grassroots. I think the scene grew and matured, but I think it would be great if  more importance was given to movies. Flickr played a big role in that, but in general it is much easier to make and share a picture compared to a movie, so this shift was bound to happen anyway.

Carly:  So what is your stance on drama in porn. Are they compatible? 
Katina Cazalet: Don't know. Is 'drama' compatible with anything in general? Sometimes we are quick to call 'drama' legitimate feelings people have. In general, I don't like public showings of private affairs and I hope people can be mature enough to not air their problems in a way that makes others feel uncomfortable.

Carly: Have you been on the receiving end of drama in the scene? being a very popular figure   
Katina Cazalet: The most common drama that comes at me for my 'role' is about people feeling underappreciated. And I can relate to that, I heard it so many times and I really feel sorry about it. SL is a great place but it's hard to look at 'recognition' from a community. that is very specific without linking it to be 'in' or 'out' of some clique. It is not quite like that, but it is how many perceive it, and if their motivation is not deeply rooted in passion for the 'art' , they get discouraged.

Carly: What advice can you give porn stars and filmmakers that are new to the scene? 
Katina Cazalet: Have fun. Do it because it is something you like doing. Don't expect 'success' or even less , money. You can get all the help you need from others, all the technical tips, support too, but only you can deal with staying motivated.
